Fundraising 2012

 January

On January 7th a karting event was held at Whilton Mill kart track, Northamptonshire. The event was organised by one of Paul's friends and fellow racer Dan Underhill.

The event saw 60 drivers take part in both a sprint championship event held over the morning and an endurance team race in the afternoon with a great Le- Mans style start.

The event was also attended  by Formula Renault BARC driver Jack Dex who drove his 2012 race tuned SWB motorsport car around the track. Simon Baldry, owner of SWB also drove the team's Formula BMW as a demonstration around the track. A charity auction completed the amazing event along with a trophy (that had been made and sprayed to resemble Paul's racing helmet and suit) which was presented to the winning sprint driver Jack Dex.

The event was attended by local news who completed a wonderful story for the Northampton Chronicle and Echo newspaper. The event was also covered in Karting magazine with a wonderful write up about the day and the fund.
