Dan Underhill

Paul's Fun Fund would like to make a special thank you to acknowledge the amazing amount of money that Dan Underhill has raised over the years for leukaemia research in honour of Paul. Dan and Paul met at club 100 a professional karting club where they raced together, sharing their passion for karting and racing. Since Dan first learnt of the fund he has been eager to do something to honour Paul's memory and to raise money for the charity.

 

               

Dan over the years has raised thousands of pounds for leukaemia research by holding an annual karting event at Whilton Mill race track in Daventry. Dan this year decided to raise the money specifically for the ICR to support the research programme looking into the rare T-PLL that Paul was diagnosed with. Dan is currently busy organising the annual 2017 karting event aiming to again raise money and donate this to the ICR T-PLL research programme. The Fund would like to acknowledge the time, hard work and continued support that Dan provides and say a huge thank you for all he has done and continues to do.

February 2017

Dan has organised his 5th karting event as his ongoing tribute to Paul's memory. He has again this year donated the funds to the ICR research programme into T-PLL. This year the fundraising event raised a total of £3,315. Again a huge thank you to Dan and all who made the day an ongoing success.

March 2018

This year saw Dan oraganise his 6th karting event and again he donated the funds to the ICR research programme into T-PLL. This year the fundraising event raised a total of £4,151.25 - again a huge achievement.

April 2022

This year saw Dan organise another amazing karting event at Whilton Mill race track and again funds raised from the event were donated to the ICR. The event raised over £5,000 - Thank you as always Dan for all your hard work.
